Midwives and the Midwifery Profession:
- Aiming to regulate fertility, provide consultancy on contraception and implement it under one's own responsibility.
- To be able to identify healthy and sick children between the ages of 0-6, to monitor them comprehensively and provide midwifery care, to screen high-risk cases when necessary, and to refer them for early diagnosis and treatment.
- To ensure the comfort and safety of the mother, newborn and family during the birth and postpartum period, to determine the needs, and to provide comprehensive, high-quality, culturally sensitive midwifery care.
- To train midwives in accordance with the National Core Education Program (UCEP).
- To continue to play an active role in the faculty and student exchange process initiated within the framework of compliance with European education policies.
- To ensure that our students are provided with a quality and modern education by updating the education curriculum according to current conditions.
- To ensure that our students develop their belonging to our university through the graduate tracking system.
- To organize events such as interviews, seminars and various activities within our department.
- To ensure that our faculty members are more academically present at international and national congresses.
- To ensure educational standards appropriate to current conditions in the development and expansion of our academic staff as a unit.
